General Waiver of Liability

By selecting to join us on one of our excursions, you agree to the following:

GOOD HEALTH

You are in good general health and there is nothing which renders you unfit to undertake the excursion you selected. 

FURTHERMORE YOU DECLARE

That your participation in the excursion is voluntary.

You understand that Nature and Photo activities do carry a certain amount of risk, as well as exposure to potentially dangerous wildlife, snakes, insects and plants. 

While the Nature and Photo team, takes reasonable precautions against foreseeable risks, both the nature of the excursions and accidents make it impossible to ensure the complete safety of participants. Some examples of risks are: heat exhaustion, sunburn, gaming accidents, exposure to dangerous animals and accidents while in transit to, from and during visits to different activity areas.

Agreeing to this waiver of liability, means that you understand and accept the risks involved.

You hereby appoint and authorise the Nature and Photo staff in charge to act on your behalf and  with full authority to consent to you undergoing surgical and/or medical treatment, should you be unable to make that decision yourself.

You undertake to pay the costs of such treatment.

You fully understand and accept that all activities are undertaken at your own risk. You are aware that neither Nature and Photo, it's parent company, Storyteller Productions (PTY) LTD, management, agents, employees, volunteers or any person associated with Nature and Photo accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage that person or property may sustain whilst engaged in any Nature and Photo activity. Including transportation to and from any emergency medical facility.

You hereby waive any right that you may have to claim compensation against Nature and Photo, it's parent company, Storyteller Productions (PTY) LTD, management, agents, employees, volunteers or any person associated with Nature and Photo, in respect of any loss, injury or damage incurred whilst engaged in any Nature and Photo activity howsoever arising and whether as a result of negligence or otherwise and you indemnify Nature and Photo against all such claims.

You agree and authorise that photos, statements, audio – visual recordings, video and sound bites taken, recorded and collected of you during Nature and Photo activities, may be used free of charge and at the discretion of Nature and Photo as part of their marketing, communication and fundraising campaigns.

You declare that you understand and agree to the conditions as set out above.
